Caryn Seidman-Becker

Chairman and CEO

Mission: "I want CLEAR to change the way people live and work"

Caryn Seidman-Becker is the Chairman and CEO of CLEAR. Caryn led the acquisition of CLEAR in 2010 and, along with Co-Founder Ken Cornick, has guided the revitalization and re-launch of the company. Caryn is responsible for setting the overall direction and vision for the company as CLEAR becomes the trusted repository for secure identification. Caryn also oversees/obsesses over the customer experience, marketing, business development, and people development.

In 2004, Caryn created the Arience Foundation and The Happy Elephant Foundation which support charter schools, cancer research, child wellness, and the New York City community. Caryn sits on the Board of Directors of Mt. Sinai Children's Center and Central European Media (NASDAQ: CETV), a European media company.

Caryn received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.

Ken Cornick

President and CFO

Ken Cornick

Mission: "CLEAR should remove the angst from air travel."

Ken is the President and CFO of CLEAR. Along with Co-Founder, Caryn Seidman-Becker, Ken relaunched CLEAR in 2010. Ken oversees finance, operations, and marketing.

Prior to CLEAR, Ken was a founding partner of Arience Capital. In building Arience over a seven-year period, heavy emphasis was placed on its unique research process, culture and team.

Ken received his BA in Economics from Bowdoin College.





Shawn Dagg

Chief of Risk Analysis and Security

Mission: "To increase confidence and establish trust by making CLEAR the secure identity platform that facilitates everyday transactions."

Shawn joins CLEAR with over 15 years in the technology sector with a focus on security, biometrics and identity management technologies.

Working for several years as a consultant and advisor to Senior Government Officials managing secure management programs, Shawn then joined Verified Identity Pass managing the technology and operations of the previous Fly CLEAR service.

Shawn spent the first 2 years with CLEAR as our CIO building the operations and technology foundation for CLEAR. In his current role, Shawn will work with government and industry to establish and grow CLEAR's presence and reputation in the secure identity verification and management field.

Effie Epstein

Director of Business Development & Strategy

Mission: "To build CLEAR's footprint through value-added partnerships"

Effie joins CLEAR from NYSE Euronext where she was responsible for evaluating and executing investment opportunities pertaining to global strategic objectives. Prior to NYSE Euronext, she was part of the Global Energy Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. Effie received a BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.



Matt Levine

General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer

Mission: "I want CLEAR to make airport transit hassle free for its members and to provide outstanding security solutions to its partner airports."

Matt joined CLEAR in July 2012 after eight years at DealerTrack, a provider of software and data solutions in the automotive industry. At DealerTrack Matt focused on mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property transactions, and worked on the team that took DealerTrack public in 2005. Prior to DealerTrack Matt spent five years at the international law firm LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae, LLP.

Matt received a BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School.

Kevin Lupowitz

Chief Information Officer

Mission: "To position CLEAR so that it is constantly exceeding the expectations of our Partners and Members"

Kevin is a seasoned technology veteran with experience in firms ranging from well-established large institutions to successful entrepreneurial start-ups. He has a passion for creating elegant, transformational, and extremely stable technology and product solutions.

Prior to CLEAR, Kevin served as the Global Head of Technology and Chief Information Officer at Liquidnet for 11 years. He helped the firm grow from its launch in a single market (US) with 38 members, to operating in 39 markets globally with over 600 institutional members in 2011. Kevin is responsible for all technology solutions at CLEAR, as well as management and expansion of the technology team.

Nora O'Malley

Director of Public Relations

Mission: "To ensure that when people hear the name CLEAR, they start dreaming about their next trip rather than dreading it."

Nora joins CLEAR with a passion for blending traditional PR with digital and social media platforms. Her fascination with the future of PR and communications began at the Columbia School of Journalism's Publishing Course and continued to grow during her roles coordinating publicity at Random House and Colangelo & Partners PR.

Nora graduated with a B.A. in English from Georgetown University.




Allison Romano

Director of Marketing

Mission: "To ensure CLEAR is known for its customer centricity."

Allison joined CLEAR from American Express with over 12 years in consumer and small business marketing. In her most recent role as Director of Product Marketing, she enhanced American Express OPEN’s product line by creating new digital services and brought to market the first social media, search and display products.

Gregg Brockway

Gregg Brockway is a well-regarded entrepreneur with a deep history in starting and building on-line travel companies. Gregg Co-founded Hotwire, which was sold to Expedia. Most recently, Gregg served as President and Co-founder of Tripit, Inc., which was recently sold to Concur.

Craig Coy

Craig Coy is currently CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Command Security Corporation. He served as President and COO of the L-3 Homeland Security Group from 2006 to 2009. From 2002 to 2006 he served as the CEO of the Massachusetts Port Authority during the aftermath of 9/11. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard for more than 20 years and Director of the Commandant's Strategic Planning Office.

Bill Miller

Bill Miller is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Legg Mason Capital Management. He also currently serves as the portfolio manager for the Value Trust and Opportunity Trust mutual funds. Mr. Miller assumed overall responsibility for the equity funds management area of Legg Mason in late 1990.

Jeff Samberg

Jeff Samberg is the Managing Member of Acadia Woods Partners, LLC, a New York based investment partnership that focuses primarily on early stage technology companies. Jeff lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 15 years where he held a number of high-tech management roles, including Vice President of Corporate Strategy for PeopleSoft Inc., Vice President of Business Development for Wily Technology, and Entrepreneur in Residence for Greylock Partners. Jeff received his MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and his B.A. with high honors in Economics from Princeton University.
