Caryn Seidman-Becker Chairman and CEO
I want CLEAR to change the way people live and work.Caryn Seidman-Becker Chairman and CEOCaryn Seidman-Becker is the Chairman and CEO of CLEAR. Caryn led the acquisition of CLEAR in 2010 and, along with Co-Founder Ken Cornick, has guided the revitalization and re-launch of the company. Caryn is responsible for setting the overall direction and vision for the company as CLEAR becomes the trusted identity verification platform. Caryn also oversees (obsesses over) the customer experience, marketing, business development, and people development. In 2004, Caryn created the Arience Foundation and The Happy Elephant Foundation which support charter schools, cancer research, child wellness, and the New York City community. Caryn sits on the Board of Directors of Mt. Sinai Children's Center and the Young Women's Leadership Network. Caryn is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in NYC. Caryn received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.Caryn@clearme.com
Ken Cornick President and CFO
I want to transform the way people travel.Ken Cornick President and CFOKen is the President and CFO of CLEAR. Along with Co-Founder, Caryn Seidman-Becker, Ken relaunched CLEAR in 2010. Ken oversees finance, operations, and technology. Prior to CLEAR, Ken was a founding partner of Arience Capital. In building Arience over a seven-year period, heavy emphasis was placed on its unique research process, culture and team. Ken received his BA in Economics from Bowdoin College.Ken@clearme.com
David P. Cohen Chief Administrative OfficerDavid P. Cohen Chief Administrative OfficerDavid Cohen is the Chief Administrative Officer of CLEAR. Based in Washington, D.C., he is responsible for operations, risk management and legal affairs, and government and public relations. Before joining CLEAR, David was a shareholder at the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. There, his legal practice focused on representing clients in direct foreign investment transactions, defending corporations in complex regulatory and investigative matters, and advocating for clients before Congress and the Executive Branch on national security and financial services issues. Prior to joining the private sector, David served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Customs Service Commissioners Ray Kelly and Robert Bonner, and Acting Commissioner Charles Winwood. His tenure at Customs included the events of September 11, 2001, and the initial policy deliberations that led to the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Before Customs, David was a member of the professional staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services, focused on oversight and investigations. Matt is responsible for CLEAR's legal affairs and privacy matters. Prior to CLEAR Matt spent eight years at Dealertrack Technologies, a provider of software and data solutions in the automotive industry, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property transactions, and was part of the team that took Dealertrack public. Prior to Dealertrack Matt spent five years in private practice at the international law firm LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae, LLP. Matt received a BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School.Matt@clearme.com
Kevin Lupowitz Chief Information Officer
I want to create a secure and delightful experience for all of our members using innovative technology solutions.Kevin Lupowitz Chief Information OfficerPrior to CLEAR, Kevin has spent much of his career focused on large transactional trading platforms in the financial services sector. Most notably, he served as the Global Head of Technology and Chief Information Officer at Liquidnet for 11 years. He helped the firm grow from its launch in a single market (US) to operating in 39 markets globally with over 600 institutional members in 2011. Kevin is responsible for all technology solutions at CLEAR, as well as management and expansion of the technology team.
