What is TSA PreCheck^®?

Established through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), TSA PreCheck^® is a trusted traveler government program that gives eligible travelers easier security screening. During enrollment, all applicants are screened to ensure they meet the necessary approval requirements and are deemed low risk by TSA.

What does TSA PreCheck^® get you? 

TSA PreCheck^® offers many benefits to make security screening at the airport easier:

How do I get TSA PreCheck^® Through CLEAR?

‍First-time applicants can pre-enroll online and head to a CLEAR TSA PreCheck^® enrollment location to complete their TSA PreCheck^® application. There are many CLEAR TSA PreCheck^® enrollment locations with extended hours you can visit—no appointment needed. You’ll need a valid U.S. passport or other accepted forms of ID, so make sure you know how to renew your passport before it expires. For a 5-year membership, TSA PreCheck^® costs $77.95.

People with an existing TSA PreCheck^® membership can renew entirely online through CLEAR as early as 6 months before expiration.
